When in a Spanish monastery… I always find a way to occupy the space 😅 Today is very surreal. I’m ending an incredible 5 weeks in Europe to begin a wild 2 week tour of Colombia. It’s been the most beautiful experience meeting so many bright souls. Thank you to everyone who made this shoot possible, and also, thank you to everyone who follows my art and grew this page to 100K today 😍 Sending out so much love!

The mind is a portal; it can take us anywhere and overcome astounding odds. Right now our global community faces environmental crises in almost every country; however we have the power to overcome that. This exact location in Colombia where I photographed these dancers is under threat of foreign mining industries, which would pollute the natural water springs that provide 70% of the local regions drinking water- locals are doing everything in their power to hold them off. It’s wild that with the damage we’ve already done the people in power continue abusing natural spaces for greed. On top of the Brazilian rainforest fires and everything else happening in the world I’m shocked people don’t have consideration for the resources that allow us to live on Earth. If each of us makes efforts to change our lifestyle, demand for these resources will diminish and we will effect change- thus saving our precious home. I can’t help raise my voice about this planet I care so deeply about. When things get worse- it’s the oppressed and poor who will suffer first and the worst; this is not just a privileged problem, but a universal one. A few immediate things you can do in your daily life include 1️⃣ significantly reducing or cutting out beef (the cow/beef industry is responsible for 50% of the worlds pollution including much of deforestation and fresh water depletion, in addition to harvesting palm oil). 2️⃣ reducing your use of plastic; the creation of plastic is a huge pollutant in itself, and because it doesn’t decompose it’s building up in our Oceans creating huge choked out environments and threatening our fish supply amongst other things. 3️⃣ buy local and get involved in local politics and environmental initiatives that will benefit your own backyard and the beauty that exists there. If possible donate to good causes that are working towards change. If you’d like to learn more, I’ve shared resources in my story and saved them to my profile so they’ll stay around as a source of inspiration for all. Thank you for listening, and sending out so much love! Dancers: @balletolgaluciabol On Set Dance Coach: @dsotolo_ Production: @cristiangrojas, @24mm.co

We each have our own personal tree of life; it’s roots grow deep and the branches extend as far as we push ourselves to explore within this lifetime. It’s the people, places and communities that build us up and bring us together. It’s the source of inspiration, motivation and change within our experience. Every person I’ve ever met contributes to my life, and for their energy and those experiences I am grateful. May we continue to band together to create positive change for our planet and civilization.
