Emmy nominacije 2024: “Shogun” predvodi u trci za prestižne TV nagrade

Objavljene su Emmy nominacije 2024, za dodelu najznačajnijih priznanja u svetu televizije, a serija Shogun predvodi listu sa čak 25 nominacija, uključujući i onu za najbolju dramsku seriju. Ovoliki broj nominacija postavlja nov rekord u istoriji dodele Emmy nagrada. Među ostalim favoritima našle su se i serije The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, True Detective: Night Country i The Crown.

Dok Shogun dominira u dramskoj kategoriji, komedija The Bear ostvarila je izvanredan uspeh sa 23 nominacije, što predstavlja rekord u kategoriji humorističkih serija. Serija Only Murders in the Building dobila je 21 nominaciju, dok su True Detective: Night Country i The Crown nominovane u 19, odnosno, 18 kategorija.

Striming gigant Netflix prednjači sa ukupno 107 nominacija za 35 različitih serija. Slede ga FX sa 93 nominacije za devet serija, HBO/Max sa 91 nominacijom za 29 serija i Apple TV+ sa 72 nominacije za 16 serija. Posebnu pažnju izazvala je produkcijska kuća The Walt Disney Company, koja je sa svojim brojnim podkompanijama poput FX, ABC, Hulu i Disney+, ostvarila rekordan broj od 183 Emmy nominacije.

Ceremonija dodele 76. Emmy nagrada zakazana je za 15. septembar u Peacock pozorištu u Los Anđelesu, a živi prenos biće emitovan na ABC-u.

Ovogodišnje nominacije obuhvataju period od 1. juna 2023. do 31. maja 2024. godine. Važno je napomenuti da je prethodna dodela Emmy nagrada, koja je trebalo da bude održana 2023. godine, zbog štrajkova u Holivudu pomerena na januar 2024. godine. To znači da se ove godine Emmy nagrade dodeljuju samo devet meseci nakon prethodne ceremonije.

Ukupno 229 serija je prijavljeno u ključnim kategorijama za dramu, komediju i ograničene (mini) serije, što je za 33% manje u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Ovo smanjenje je delom posledica pada obima produkcije, ali i kašnjenja mnogih produkcija zbog prošlogodišnjih štrajkova. Pojedine svetski popularne serije, poput House of the Dragon i The Last of Us (Max/HBO), The Boys (Amazon Prime) i Bridgerton (Netflix), nisu ušle u ovogodišnju trku, ali se očekuje njihovo učešće u nominacijama za 2025.
