Nominacije za Oskara 2024. su napokon objavljene, a ironično, ono što je privuklo svačiju pažnju nije film koji je ostvario najviše nominacija, nego upravo kinematografsko ostvarenje čije su nominacije u važnim kategorijama izostale (hint: pričamo o najgledanijem filmu godine!).

Ko ima najviše nominacija, a ko je doživeo snub?
Film Oppenheimer režisera Christophera Nolana predvodi listu sa ukupno 13 nominacija, postavši glavni favorit za ceremoniju u martu. Međutim, iznenađujući snub doživeo je film Barbie, koji, uprkos rekordnom uspehu, nije dobio nominacije u dve ključne kategorije – najbolji/a režiser/ka za Gretu Gerwig i najbolju glumicu za Margot Robbie. Ostvarenje o ikoničnoj lutki ima ukupno 8 nominacija, od kojih se dve takmiče u istoj kategoriji za najbolju pesmu.

Zvezde biografskog filma o naučniku koji je napravio atomsku bombu – Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. i Emily Blunt takođe se takmiče za nagrade. Ovo je najviše nominacija koje je jedan film dobio od 2018. godine, kada je The Shape of Water osvojio 4 nagrade, uključujući za najbolji film i režiju. Nolan, koji je prethodno bio nominovan za pet Oskara, takođe je favorit na BAFTA nagradama sledećeg meseca – gde je uvek odlazio praznih ruku.

Poor Things je bolje prošao nego što se očekivalo na nominacijama u utorak, osiguravši iznenađujuće nominacije za Marka Ruffala za najbolju sporednu ulogu i Yorgosa Lanthimosa za najboljeg režisera. Lanthimos će se sada takmičiti protiv Nolana, Scorsesea, Jonathana Glazera iz The Zone of Interest i Justine Triet iz Anatomy of a Fall. Triet, koja je prošle godine osvojila Zlatnu palmu u Kanu za svoj triler o sudskom procesu, sada je jedina žena u ovoj kategoriji, jer su Greta Gerwig iza Barbie i Celine Song za Past Lives bile izostavljene.

Film Jonathana Glazera The Zone of Interest, u trci je za 5 Oskara, uključujući najbolji međunarodni film. Njegova zvezda, Sandra Hüller, nije navedena na kratkoj listi za sporednu glumicu, ali njen rad na Anatomy of a Fall znači da će se takmičiti protiv Stone, Gladstone, Annette Bening (Nyad) i Carey Mulligan (Maestro) za najbolju glumicu.
Maestro, vizija Bradleyja Coopera o ličnoj i profesionalnoj drami Leonarda Bernsteina, dobila je priznanje u 7 kategorija, dok se sam Cooper takmiči za originalni scenario i najboljeg glumca.
The Holdovers, komedija Alexandra Paynea – jedna od 4 komedije na užem izboru za najbolji film (najviše od 2013. godine) – nije dobila nominaciju za najboljeg režisera, ali je jaki kandidat za originalni scenario i gotovo siguran kandidat za sporednu glumicu. Da’Vine Joy Randolph osvojila je sve prethodne nagrade za svoju ulogu u filmu, ali bilo je iznenađenja među konkurencijom.

Razočaranje je doneo i izostanak priznanja za hvaljeni britanski ljubavni film All of Us Strangers, koji nije dobio nijednu nominaciju, što znači izostanak za scenaristu i režisera Andrewa Haigha, ali i za zvezde Andrewa Scotta, Paula Mescala, Claire Foy i Jamieja Bella.
Film Ferrari Michaela Manna takođe je izostao, a među onima koji su ignorisani su Adam Driver i Penélope Cruz, dok je sličnu sudbinu doživeo i Saltburn.
Podsećamo, dobitnici se biraju glasovima gotovo 11.000 članova industrije iz 93 zemlje, a ceremonija dodele Oskara će biti održana 10. marta 2024. godine, a vodiće je Jimmy Kimmel.
