Sinoć su u Linkoln centru u Njujorku dodeljene Tony nagrade 2024, za najbolja ostvarenja iz sveta pozorišta. Među dobitnicima su se našle brojne poznate ličnosti, ali i nova lica na pozorišnoj sceni.
Posebno se istakao britanski glumac Daniel Radcliffe, svetski poznat po ulozi Harryja Pottera, koji je osvojio svog prvog Tonyja za najboljeg sporednog glumca u mjuziklu za ulogu u predstavi “Merrily We Roll Along”.

U emotivnom govoru zahvalio se pokojnom Stephenu Sondheimu što je napisao tu seriju pesama koje su “dar za pevanje svake večeri”. Inače, “Merrily We Roll Along” proglašen je za najbolju obnovu mjuzikla, a Radcliffov kolega Jonathan Groff osvojio je Tonyja za glavnu mušku ulogu.
Dobitnici Tony nagrade 2024. i najupečatljiviji autfiti
Svoj prvi Tony osvojili su i Jeremy Strong, zvezda serije “Succession”, za glavnu ulogu u drami “An Enemy of the People”, kao i Sarah Paulson za glavnu žensku ulogu u predstavi “Appropriate”. Najboljim sporednim glumcima proglašeni su Will Brill za ulogu u drami “Stereophonic”, odnosno, Kara Young u komadu “Purlie Victorious”.
Angelina Jolie je zablistala u kreaciji nalik grčkih boginja, obavijena haljinom od morsko zelenog somota iz modne kuće Atelier Versace. Jolie je blisko sarađivala sa stilistom Stevenom La Fuenteom kako bi sklopila ovaj zadivljujući debi na crvenom tepihu. Angelinu je pratila ćerka Vivienne, koja je nosila usklađeni komplet zelenog sakoa i pantalona uz belu košulju.
